Houston meet up

All right, Scorpio made me do this. We need to get together and meet somewhere for breakfast / lunch / dinner or something. I'm Southeast near Johnson Space Center, Rob919 is in Champions area up north, XRCajun is Pasadena?

Scorpio where are you at? Post up with good meet times / locations for you. Weekdays / school nights suck for me. I'm an early morning guy so I vote for Saturday morning.

XR, do you have a 2003 gray model with a little black shield on your bike and Louisiana plates? I think I parked next to you at the show Sunday morning.

Alright Dave you're on!

Rob919 is over in Spring Branch, right off of I10 West. I'm in Sagemont, and Scorpio is I believe in the 1960 area. Oh you know there is another guy in Deer Park that just bought a 919.

I'm an early moring guy also so that's a good idea for me also. I'm going to out of town this weekend and I think Rob 919 has his daughter next weekend.

I think it would be fun to meet as we head north to Montgomery or out west some where like maybe Fayettville and have breakfast at Kings cafe or in Fayettville.

I will be available not this weekend but the following and if Rob is we could do it that weekend or the next.

I'm in Copperas Cove (just west of Ft Hood), and would probably be willing to meet up. Especially in the Fayetteville area or somewhere around there. All the way to Houston would be a long ride for me and str8. Let me know when, and I will check the ol' calendar. I know that this Saturday Nov 17 and are used up. Are we looking at a Saturday or Sunday?

I'm always down for a good ride/meet. Just let me know when and where, my weekends are pretty open and weekdays usually after 6:00pm.
Look forward to joining the pack!

Sounds like a great idea! I have my daughter the weekend of the 16th (Basicly every 1st, 3rd, and 5th weekend of each month). But this coming Saturday I'm good, as well as on Saturday the 24th.

I'll give it a shot... that is a little further than I had time budgeted for but we'll see how long I'm allowed off the leash. This is the wife's busy season so it depends on her work. The kiddo is too small for coming along.

XR, I think I am probably less than 5 miles from you if you are in Sagemont. I'm in Heritage Park Village, directly behind Clear Brook High School. The internet is a wonderful thing.

Right down Beamer and we could be at one or the others house in about 10 minutes.

Well let's just try to make it work. It will be worth it for you to get to see Tom bike. I promise you.

Sounds good to me! Hope you can make it, David. If not, I wouldn't mind a ride down to Kemah, or any other joint in that area, some other weekend.

As of right now, I don't see anything schedule on that saturday.

I will talk to my wife and see if there is anything going on that is not on the calendar yet. Sounds like fun...and I will definitley try to get there.

Also, watch for another thread about TX riders. I was going to post up to TX riders to add themselves to the WT map so we know where the TX people are. Was thinking it might be fun to do a WT Shindig - TX edition. Just need to find out where all TX people are to get a central campground/hotel/place to stay. Stay tuned for another thread to follow asking for input.

What if we split this into two rides? A Houston local quickie and a "South Central Texas" weekender? It looks like the 24th might be out for me but I'll still try.

I still don't know roughly where Scorpio is... And the whole reason I started this was so I could drool on his bike .

What about this Saturday morning for breakfast? Depending on where Scorpio is, we could meet Southwest-ish for breakfast.

I'm down for that. There's alot of good places for a Saturday morning brunch inside the Loop. In fact, every Saturday I meet up with my college buddies at Buffalo Grille off Buffalo Speedway and 59 (but they're not motorcyclists). There's several places off Westheimer and towards Montrose, as well. In the SW area, Sugarland has a new Town Square (never hung out there), but it seems like a great place to hang out and I'm sure it's got places that would be great for a morning brunch. Also with the "old-town" buildings in the background, it would present great photo ops for the bike. I wanna check out and take pics of that bike!!

I usually ride out from starbucks on kuykendahl & louetta on sunday mornings. Take some nice back roads up through the national forest to 3090.
Would this be something you guys might wanna do?
If not, then just let me know when and where. I would like to get some riding in though soo I can get comforatble on the bike.

Any word on this, are we still on for the 24th? Who's in? Are there any ride routes laid out, or are we just meeting to meet and drool over Scorpio's new toy? What time are we meeting and where at?

Str8 and Iion (and anyone else in Central Texas) did you want to meet up and ride to Fayetteville together?

I'm good to go. David, do you know yet if you can free up on the 24th? What we can do, for us guys in Houston, is meet up for an early morning breakfast (so David can attend), then head on out for the ride. David can ride with us until he has to go back home, but the rest of will continue towards the Fayetteville rendevous. We'll have some lunch there (where Tom?), then we can all continue our ride. At some point we'll split then head back to Houston/San Antonio.

I'll map something out.
