Honda fly screen

OK, somebody save me from myself!
I bought a Honda fly screen for the 919 some years ago,
fitted it to the bike, and hated it! It put too much wind in my helmet, and had no redeeming features.
Fast forward a couple of years, and there it is again, looking so cool, with all the correct hardware, I thought, "Let's give it a try"
Long story short, I don't want to be tempted with it's good looks and snazzy promises again, I just want it the hell outta here so I don't make the same mistake again!
Anybody who wants to flirt with it, just PM me, I'm sure we can come to an arraingement!

How tall are you? I've heard that taller riders find it awful as the wind just blasts their helmet/upper torso.

Not that it matters, but what color is the windscreen? I know there is the pinkish color and the smoke color.

Five nine, and pinkish color, it looks good on a red bike!

Correct, I'm 6'4" and I hate it. It's been sitting on my shelf for 3-4 years. It's not in perfect shape but if someone want's it. Curiousmike has 2-3 dibs??

Just dug it out of my garage, I forgot I had it painted semi-gloss black but never installed it on the bike. So it's in good condition but painted.

Mr. T -- thanks for the offer -- I'm looking for as stock as possible.
If you haven't yet, be sure to post it in the want ads.

Wondering, how tall are you?

I dont know if the stock screen would be good for me at 5' 6"

then again, maybe it'd be perfect for a shorter ride like myself.

Thoughts anyone?

I found that the oem screen is pretty effective at taking wind off the torso and chest and I'm 5'7". But most of that air ends up hitting my shoulders and helmet. Helmet noise will increase significantly and your head will be subject to a lot more turbulent air. It's a trade off, but the air off the chest will make highway riding a lot more comfortable.
