honda 919 rear wheel

So I'm considering getting a second wheel for the 919 for tire life reasons. The thing is, it's damn near impossible to find a used wheel for the 9er. Anybody know what else fits the 919? F4 perhaps?

No.. they are not impossible to find. I got a barely used rear wheel off eBay last year for $95 delivered. Picked up a brake rotor for $50 and a cush drive with a rear sprocket for $40.. although its a stocker sprocket and I run a 45t.. but still. All on ebay. That's less than $200 for everything. eBay is the way to find what ya need... just be patient.

Thanks RD, I just stumbled across this last night myself. I'll probably end up buying it.

That one has been re-listed on eBay for almost 2 months. It's a smokin' deal. Every time I see it, I am amazed it has not sold yet... weird! Get it man. Can't beat having two wheels... trust me.

O.K. moto, for us one-wheel guys... do you change them out for riding preferences (sport vs touring/long trip) or what? I'm all for keeping spare parts around, but honestly never thought about getting another rear tire set up.

Just call me 'grasshopper'!

grasshopper,

I have the spare cuz I drag race as often as I can get down to the track. Burn-outs destroy rear tires... but flat and bald is good for drag racing. So I keep one mounted for that purpose.

Makes sense... Good thing I'm not from Missouri or I wouldn't have got it. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
