Help with a 919......

2002 Honda 919 with about 4k on the clock. Won't start/run. Loading up with gasoline. Found a puddle of gasoline in the airbox. What do I do? Anyone had this?

If you've got a power commander on it unhook it and give it another try.

What's it doing. Cranking, fuel pump running, is the ignition hitting at all?

I'm not sure but it sounds like this could be a faulty injector(s). Rob will probably chime in here in a min.

Holding the throttle wide open and it will start.....missing terribly. Let off throttle and it loads up and quits. Again, gas in the airbox.

Have you checked that your battery is sufficiently charged?

Can someone show me what the FPR looks like? I have the bike in storage right now and want to know what to look for when I get it out.

Go here
  1. Select "Fuel & air" in the menu on the left side of the schematic window
  2. Then select "Throttle Body Assy" schematic
It’s number 12 in the schematic
