Don't worry about your English, we're happy to have members from around the world.

I wonder how the Japanese spec 919 differs from the US models?

Hi and welcome sasdam.

No problem with your English. We all understand the language of the Hornet/919.

Please post pictures if you are able.

Hello, sasdam,

Welcome to this site!

How long have you had your '04 919?

Have you made any modifications to it?

Hi everybody.I'm glad to be your member. I had 919 for 2 years and do not modify. But I would like to modify my 919 janpan spec. to have more power like usa spec. Any body know what can I do. I'm not a cop, in thailand if you have money you can have bigbike, but very expensive.

Hi there sadsam,
I'm from New Zealand and I feel right at home here in this forum. Most specs for our bikes are as good as you'll get them anywhere in the world as the anti-pollution laws here haven't quite kicked in here like some other places. This is one area that I am happy to say, is behind many other countries. We can get away with almost any mod here, almost as long as it's not dangerous or too loud..

sasdam,

Check out the following URL:

http://www9.ttvnol.com/forum/garage/...bwtmcv6cvuqjkk

It is in Vietnamese, but maybe you can obtain a translation. The page addresses the topic of de-restricting a 919.

Thailand was one of the best port o calls I got to visit while in Uncle Sam's Canoe Club. We pull liberty for 5 days over New Years in '83 at Pattaya Beach and took bus tour to Bangkok.
Wow, between the Thai whiskey, women, and and the home grown smoke, me and my lifelong Navy friends, for sure, got more than just a job, IT WAS AN ADVENTURE!

Ahhhhh, Thailand!
