Smile Guess I will be a lurker...

Great forum!
I was considering the 919. I hung around, asked for and got some great advice, but ended up buying a non-naked bike (a bright red 2000 955 Triumph Sprint ST). Anyway thought I would let you know what happened. Anyway I still have this forum bookmarked, and will be lurking.

btw: What forum on this site would the Sprint fit in? Touring? Sport Bike?

welcome and enjoy!
The ST is a great bike and would fit in both I think, maybe touring a bit more than sport. The ST is no slouch in either regard.

Besides, although we're 919'centric we're certainly not 919 exclusive.

I've heard you don't actually have to own a 9er to hang out here but it helps.
The 9er owners kinda just took over quietly while no one was looking.

The quiet overtaking was the bone stock bike with quiet exhaust that stomped a sportbike. It's awesome when you let them catch back up and all they can do is stare and you know they are thinking..."THAT just passed me?"

OK to lurk but don't touch...

I would have a Triumph of some sort if the dealerships weren't 2.5 hours away... I like the Rocket III and the Tiger is my all time favorite

Congrats on the Triumph purchase. Great bikes. I would still have mine except for a bonehead cager.
Anyway, very nice bike you got.

I wouldn't worry to much. 919's are for Pansys anyways!

What is this elusive and special 919 I continually hear of? I'm not familiar with it?

Razzooooooooooooooooooo! I would like to yell that at the last call bell in a bar while drunk!

The Sprint has always been on my list of bike to have in the stable!
