GrnHornet's parts on my bike

Parts from grnhornet are on!!!!

Way i bought it. stock

Right now. I still have handlebars coming and bar end crg mirrors.

There is no pcIII on it. I just been running it down the road and letting it idle and rev it up. Seems the same. Still puffs alittle black smoke out the can when i get on it. If it was running lean like poeple say what would be a sign to tell? The exhaust is brand new d&d full system.

I think it's great that both of you worked out and are happy with the swap. Really nice.

I have to admit I like the green better than the black.

Wow, that looks good Jalm. I like the way it looks with the fender eliminator. I am very happy with mine. Think black looks better with the touring mods I have been leaning toward lately. Glad it worked out for both of us.

Cool, you both got instant new bikes! The green with black accents looks good, you could continue that theme and black it out.

The green looks really good.

Now all you got to do is remover that swing arm sticker.

I do like the green. Mine was green but after 20 years the in the service wearing one type of green or another I just couldn't take it. So I painted it BFR. 2 coats tourch red over white base. I left some of the green in my graphics so I could remember it. Have you see that green with gloss clear? Its electric.

Could it be cuz it's summer? :001_smile:

Seriously, halfway is not a problem for hot weather, mine gets up over half when the temps are in the 90's.

There were a couple of threads where something similar happened when the cooling system was drained and not completely re-filled. If you worked on it, may wanna check that. Mine rarely gets much past C, except in hot weather at stoplights.

Here's one
