great day!

w/ temps nearly at 60 in the northeast i went out today w/ my buddy(buell xb12s) and did 260 miles through a combo of backroads, highways. roads were still wet in a.m. but dried by noon and as the we were able to carry a good pace.

again the 919 just handled it all superbly. Damm I love this bike

btw, i have 4k on my bt021 and the rear looks like it has another 700 miles to go. so i'll get about 1000 miles more than a supersport tire and I gotta say they are quite good in dry, semi-wet conditions.

Dunlop Roadsmarts next!!

sounds like a great day. I did just over 100 today, but that is because we didn't get started until 5 and had to be back by 6:30

A good day riding is definitely a good day. Spent a good portion of Saturday well above the speed limit and covered right around 250 miles myself. Found out that I am NOT accustomed to spending that much time in the saddle. My 30 mile roundtrip commute does not condition a body for that long of a ride.

2003 Honda 919 - flapper mod, Clear Alternatives Smoke Tailight w/ integral turn signals, Stebel Nautilus air horn, DIY fender eliminator, LED license plate bolts, LED front turn signals, no resistor or new flasher so I blink like crazy.

Now you tell me.......I just bought a BTO21 TODAY in hopes of getting more than 5,500 miles from the stock Michelin.........!

i don't know your riding habits... but i took those nasty stock tires off my 919 with 1200 miles on them... they are horrible...

its worth the 300 bucks to have peace of mind...
