Got my Dual headlights yesterday

Got the Duals yesterday and installed them today, only took 2 hours with the hardest part messing around with the wiring harness. Looks great. I got them from the streetfighterstore.com in the UK took forever to clear customs but was worth it. Next is turn signals and flyscreen

Looks really nice, ns900f. The dual headlight look is really growing on me. Do the standard OEM, Givi, etc. windscreens fit with the dual headlight setup?

It seams that most people are using the Buell XB9 windscreen. I am planning on getting the Zero gravity windscreen. I'm not sure if there is any fabrication going to be involved, but that’s the fun part.

I thought I would order it later but I really can't wait any longer. Ordering this week. Moding your own bike is addictive, is there a 12 step program?

I think it was like $170 Canadian delivered. but there was no insurance (J/K). I'm very happy with their packaging and very responsive to emails. If I can do the mod anyone can. My wife just found out that I got the lights and plan on getting the wind screen plus saving for Satos and PCIII for Jan. This new addiction is going to get me killed. Wait till she hears that I plan on getting a track bike (i'm so dead). I thought rock climbing was expensive.

You better be wearing your helmet if your wife decides to take up rock throwing... Christmas is coming, diamonds always work for me!

Good looking install!

I think that the 5 1/2 inch are good looking as well and is what i'm considering for my upgrade. Stole this pic from someone here i think, what you guys think? I want to do somthing a little different with the way they mount but I like this size a little better.

$150 US and closing. Its a great deal, I think they even have a better deal if you buy 3 sets. The 5 1/2's look different, its growing on me. I think one of the greatest things about the 9ers is that you can really make them your own. Soon I will be 9er poor.

hmmm.....

I don't know how I feel about it. It looks nice, but I almost feel this is too close to trying to copy the speed triple rather than be original. I know Triumph does not hold the patent or market - but it just seems like a copy.

I could be wrong...

That's actually what I like about the speed triple the fact that it is a triumph well I'll over look that

You could just go buy a triple and have the best of both worlds.

I haven't rode at night yet (too cold). but in the garage the double looks to be much brighter.

As for looking like the triple I think your right it does resemble a triple, only the honda will start every time and need less mechanics

But the triple comes with twice the warranty free -

And if something happens to it, Triumph actually fixes it.
