Function and Style

Just scored a full set of OEM 2009 CBR 600RR turn signals for $35. It's about time Honda redesigned those signals. Now, they are going to greatly improve the look of my 919 without sacrificing function.

This doesn't do them justice, but it is better than the big squares I have.

i like my LED ones, now that i have filed off the round domes of the leds so they arnt so directional, but those looks like the best option for form and function... very sleek styling, and i bet they bolt right up!

New chain, new aerodynamic sigs. You are gunna be stylin. Leaving your laptop at home will net a 10 lb weight savings. The only way i'll be able to catch you now is when you're on the side of the road sloshing your bike.

I'm pretty sure you gave me the original idea.

I found them in a classified ad on 600rr.net. They go like hot cakes and are typically priced higher. I snatched these up quick. People were even posting that his price was too low after I put dibs in.

These ARE DOT compliant. They are from 2009 and newer 600RRs (and probably other new Honda models.

So some story is necessary here. While I will be looking good , I don't think I can keep up with you on your favorite roads. I enjoy trying. That laptop/backpack thing will be good for traveling around town, but having that on my back up to your place and back was a little tiring. Interstate riding with it on was okay too, but backroads, not as much fun.

As for sloshing...I really don't want to do that again. I'm just glad I ran out of gas less than a quarter mile from a gas station. Sloshing the gas while cycling the fuel pump got just enough fuel in the system to get me to the gas station. I actually pumped 4.7xx gallons of fuel into the bike. She was sucking fumes!!!
