Fuel?

Hi.
How far can you travel on a full tank of petrol on a 919 at mixed driving , highway and road ? I can drive 185 million , is this normal?

Even 1 million would be excellent. Do you mean miles? And do you mean until the tank is empty, or until the warning light comes on?

I've never run my tank dry, but my bike routinely gets 5.5/6.0 litres per 100km. A 19 litre tank would give me around 300km of range, or yes, around 185 miles.

To check other bikes, browse for "Honda 919" on fuelly.com, that will give you an idea of usual consumption.

That's exactly the mileage I would expect.

In my last 12,000 km of mixed riding, I'm averaging 19 km/l. And it breaks down to about 17 km/l local and 22 km/l highway. And if the tank truly does deliver 16 liters until the light comes on, I can go between 260 and 350 km.

To convert miles/gallon to kilometers/liter, multiply MPG x 0.439.
To convert kilometers/liter to miles/gallon, multiply KPL x 2.28

I've broken 200 miles on a tank more than once... usually fill up around 180 to be safe

268 was my best in Mexico. There was a "Fuel in 2xx miles" which was made before the gas station had been completed. Luckily had a spare gallon to crawl 40 miles to the next.

Yea, you're right, I forgot. I'm talking about US gallons. Looks like there are 0.833 Imperial gallons in a US gallon.
