GTFO! Seriously? You'd take that retro old-skool clunker over a shinny new CB1000r?

To each his own I guess?

I'd take both, but I would go for the CB1000R over the CB1300 if i had the choice. But seeing how I don't I will have to stick to my dreams.

Nice bike with stupid price. Assuming you have that to spend there are just soooo many other options, like this:

http://www.ducatiusa.com/bikes/monst.../1500/index.do

Or 2 EA brand new 07 919s for $6k each...

Or buy this for under $10k and make it naked:

When they came out with the CB1000r I thought it would really be in the US by now, still waiting Honda, if you're listening...

$13,400 + shipping=$15,000 maybe?. Just strip down a new cbr1000rr, and there you go. More power, better handling etc.

Maybe a little thing - but remember one thing when importing a bike from the UK, you will need a new headlight (made for right hand traffic) !

This one from Germany - will go for 10.800 $ + shipping // no need for a new headlight
Can be found here:

And even more can be found here:

Good luck !
