Hey, I can take some pics for you later - I'm installing a Gimbel pan right now - have had to cut and shave some areas to get it to fit, but now I just need to paint it.

I have the long belly pan, so I had to cut out a spot for the exhaust exit at the back right side by the swingarm.

Still mostly naked... the belly pan is more like a see-thru thong.

We have to do the same to your belly pan, too, so we should do a write-up/pr0n video of how to install and remove the thong.

Just a teaser. Raining cats and dogs right now (gonna be a fun ride home, left my rain gear home) so the dust will be down in my garage to finish a few more coats of paint. I should be able to get her mounted (ahem) in a day or two.

Houston... I got a problem!

The 900rr header with my belly pan fit is about all I can say at this point... lacks a bit in terms of overall appearance (doesn't seem as balanced) IMHO as the stock header was. The pipes are shifted to the clutch side so a gap is left on the right... maybe I will put the OEM set back up for a pre/post comparo while the front end is removed.

About shit my pants when I called a local Honda dealership and found out that new hardware was going to run $98.00:
  • 5.23 per gasket (4x)
  • 4.98 per stud (8x)
  • 4.85 per nut (8x)

Lastly, am going to have to custom finish the end of the header (and can once determined)... my F4i rearsets don't allow it to raise up like it should.

Bummed all around I guess!!

Nice looking bike man... I will admit, I hate that mine is riden "year round"! Something sinking in as she sits in the garage as we speak - before I bought her years ago, she hadn't seen the rain. At this point, prolly has seen more rain than sun shine. haha

Email me a straight-on side shot, would ya? [email protected]

3Dcycle, did you have to cut some of the belly pan out for the front right header? Mine was a bit too close for comfort.

no i did not. but i made my own mounts, so it might have been mounted a little lower than it should have.

i dont see that i have any more good pictures of the belly pan, i dont have the bike any more so i cant get a frontal shot for you

Still working on fitting mine up, it seems like it needs to come down a bit. Currently having clearance issues with the bottom of the pan (even though the center part is cut out).

Weird thing is, I've mounted it up before I painted it and had a decent fit, now I can't seem to get it to clear both the headers below and the rear tire in the back.

Think I'm going to have to fab up some spacers.

lolz... mine fit better with the OEM header for sure, kinda looks "lop sided" now.
