Finally got my Buell Flyscreen.

It's the one every naked bike owner wants.
The Ducati Monster Guys, the SV guys. All the forums that harbor riders who ride a round headlight bike...

Buell / HD wanted $250.00 but couldn't actually order it.
Screen and brackets are niw obsolete part numbers.
Lockhart Philips doesn't make it anymore.
The screen is still a current part number with Airtech Streamlining.

But those damn brackets.

So I found a used carbon screen with the brackets. I paid decent money for it ($150.00)
But now I have it, and yes it really is perfect.

I'm thinking of trying to make a batch of them...

Do you think there would be any interest?

I'm thinking of having the carbon screen replicated. That way I can offer a complete kit, or just the brackets, and you could buy an unpainted fiberglass screen from Airtech

I don't think the brackets are going to be an issue, just need to decide what material to use.

I would either wrap it or plastidip. I now have the Givi A240, but, am not a fan of riding at night with it. Light gets in under it and reflects, causing a distraction. That said, it does keep the wind at bay.

I want one with the brackets if you can sell it for a decent price. I had one on my SV they were plentiful then now way to expensive

Americansportbikes.com had them for a long time. I had one on my Hornet, and they also sold the brackets. I just checked their site though and it says they are not available so they probably are not making them anymore since Buell took a dirt nap. Kinda sucks, I guess I should have gotten another one for my Hawk when they still had them.

airtech-streamlining.com still makes what I presume is a fiberglass version and it's going to be up to you to make the mounts I am sure. It's not terrible hard, You just need some strap metal and the ability to heat and fold some angles on it so it doesn't fatigue and break, then you swap to a bolt setup on the bucket that can act as a clamp and not break the headlight housing.

Yes... Ive got the buell version, and I have sourced a carbon fiber replica of the stock Honda Flyscreen. Im waiting on one more bloke to finally get up with me on a Honda flyscreen he has... once I have all three lined up I'm going to try and come up with something (using input from you guys) that makes the most sense.

I already have a bloke that does carbon molding lined up.

If you do one (with brackets as well) I will probably go in for one or two. I want to toss one on each of the project Hawks.

Was wondering where you're sitting at with making these? I found them at Holeshot Performance Products, Inc. but I would rather get it from you with brackets made to work with the 919 specifically.

Looks damn good! I have been thinking of cutting down my F-16 windscreen to a similar shape.

Hey guys, just got my windscreen and brackets off eBay, sorry I couldn't wait anymore. But I'm going to take the brackets off to paint everything soon, so if you would like pictures or measurements of the brackets, let me know. This site has helped me a lot over the years and it would be nice to give a little something back. Also, any suggestions for matte black spray paint to paint everything?

My suggestion would be matt black paint.... LOL. But seriously, paint brand doesn't matter so much as the preparation. You'r going to want scuff it up some with a red scotch brite pad and then wash it with soap and water and then use a good wax and grease remover, then dry it completely and use an adhesion promoter, especially if it is a plastic wind screen.

One other thing you may want to try is to get a can of black plasti-dip and go to town with that as well. It leaves a finish that is akin to matt black and if you botch it up you can peal it off and start over without a lot of painstaking paint removal.
