Fade to Black

Went from Green to Black. Traded Tanks and plastics with Jalm and I got everything swaped out this weekend. Also painted my windscreen a flat black, think it turned out pretty good. Guess I will have to be changing my screen name too.

Here are the pics

Now take it into the dealer and ask them where the paint code is.

Thanks all, it does feel like having a new bike without the expense of buying a new bike. Just a few hours of sweat

nice job! btw: You might notice an increase in top speed and trottle response, don't be alarmed this is perfectly normal and should be enjoyed to the fullest.

Yea, Streak, and that's from green to black. Imagine the undeniably improved throttle response and top speed if he had zenned all the way to red?!?

Be careful here -- you'll be running a quick errand, come back out to the parking lot and won't be able to find your bike. You'll only notice it two spaces over when the officer is finishing up the stolen vehicle report.

The only disadvantage to asphalt color (other than it's slower than yellow!) is if you drop it on an asphalt road you'll need a metal detector to find it.

Seriously, looking good!

Rob

If it has already been done, it is safe to assume it is possible to do it.
On the other hand, if it has not been done never assume it is impossible to do it.

finally, Rob is dead wrong about something...

if you find your having to explain your bike color to a LEO, chances are your problems are like 'objects in the mirror'....larger than they appear.

Thanks. The windscreen was by far the easiest thing to do. Just spray painted the back of it, let it dry about half an hour and poped it back on.
