Emblem/Decal conundrum

I need to reach a decision about what emblem I want to run with on my new paint job, and I'm highly indecisive about it...

I could go with the standard honda wing, in either gold or white...but I feel like it is too big and would be a bit too much, with the new rally stripes.

Or I could go with these small domed/puffy emblems (in either gold or silver) I found on ebay... but they seem a bit small, and look out of place because of it.

I also need a tank pad/protector to keep from scratching things up on the back end of the tank. I'm thinking either white or clear for that...

and then there are the tail decals. Hmm... Go with the large "Hornet" stickers, or the "919" stickers. I think the "Hornet" is way too big. if it was 50% smaller, it would probably be a go. I think the "919" sticker is equally too big. It needs to color-match the fron emblem whichever way I decide.

Or I could go with something else entirely...

Decisions, decisions....

.

Well, fire the engines! Spur this iron space-pony on!

Big gold honda wing, and gold 919/hornet (hard decision)

Edit: IMO do NOT put the interceptor badge on, way way way way to tacky

Def white wing and gold/white hornet. I know from this same experience. The experience I'll go through in a couple weeks too. Ditch the PI sticker. Clear tank pad. Small domes are WAY too small.

I vote for white decals, the wing on the tank and either the hornet or 919 on the back.

I second "leave as is" I think it looks best with just the paint... no emblems... but then again, I am the guy who rips the emblems off everything.

BTW... thanks for using a similar color paint that I am considering... now I know what it looks like on the bike without getting mine painted! Looks great!

If you're gonna go with gold for a decal, go old school.

I say black decal with gold outline. Smaller hornet for the tail with 919 ones. Your call.

Leave it as is. You have CUSTOM PAINT. Why make it look stock? For non 919 people, they will just think its a paint option for that bike

Does that mean I can sell it for $8000 buckaroos? That's awesome!

Laughably expensive 9'er for sale

$8000 is the base price of your bike. With all your upgrades and custom paint it should make it worth at least $13k. Don't sell yourself short.

The gold Honda Wing logo looks about 25% too big.

Either of the stickers on the tail section look tacked on IMO.

I hope you own some grab rail covers.

My guess is ebay. They are vintage cb900F-SS decals from the early 80's.

The small circle emblem, looks sharp. Make that 9er even more unique.
