Alright. Fess up. Who's modeling their modified 9er in this month's "American Motorcyclist" magazine?

I heard he's tired of the donkey thing.
Now he's got a goose with its head in a dresser drawer, ready to slam it shut.

I confess...what do I win?

Please disregard my bent radiator the stupid $120 missing rizoma mirror. I might try out those cheapy ebay bar end mirrors for like $20 before I replace it. And the radiator, well if it ain't broke!

I'd love to see the full story but it seems you need a subscription to view most of the online version. Looks like a good read!

And I'd love to tell you to become an AMA member because of all the "benefits" blah blah, but it's really a bullshit organization.

Don't their lawyers give some beaurocrat a hard time once in a while? That's something, I suppose. Is there a better motorcyclists' org?

Shamefully I don't believe there is.

If AMA efforts were solely on government relations, that I could appreciate. Unfortunately it's a confused organization that tries to be way too many things yet excels in none. For example, with 4+ million registered motorcycles in the united states, how is it that they can only command 250k members? A silly social organization like HOG commands 1+ million members. The inept marketing and lost growth opportunities should be inexcusable to AMA members.

IMO, AMA should focus solely on being a government relations association who's sole purpose is protecting our right to ride.

How much of my $39/year goes to protect motorcyclists rights is what I'd like to know, yikes - or maybe I wouldn't.
