Danmoto Carbon on a 919

I've been searching around since this came up on the ebay thread and I have not found anyone here (except mobotix) or elsewhere who have tried Danmoto slip-ons on a 919. Overall they have positive reviews around the web for various bike.

The carbon version has caught my eye, although I have emailed them whether they can make one up closer to stock length. You can't beat the price!

Honda CB 900 Hornet all years Carbon GP [EX-00107] - $138.60

There has to be more people out there who have tried these or the Ti version on a 919. Anyone?

Dan Dan email back and they only make that length. It's really growing on me though, especially for that price.

I as really expecting louder and more growl. Oh well I've decide to go 900rr exhaust to much to gain from it to not do it and only loosing the 2 up look.

Till I can afford it I'm running around open y pipe because even though I can't stand the sound I can't give up the way the bike handles with out the heffer stock pipes up high.

Common sense. So rare it's a god damn super power.

worst part is I leave out at 5 am every morning. good thing most of the houses here are a good football field from the road or more and many trees in between. Still I know they can hear me when i get on the state highway. Especially when I feel spirited.

Common sense. So rare it's a god damn super power.

I don't know why they sound so quiet on the bike in the clip above because there are lots of reviewers for different bikes saying that they are loud, some saying too loud. Here is another 919 that has been posted before. They are definitely louder than they seem in the one above.

If I get these I am looking forward to seeing how different if feels with all the weight savings. These carbon units weigh very little.

I can't reconcile the shortness of the slip-ons with my desire to keep decent rear turn signals. I bought some '09 CBR600 signals. I was going to raise the plate mount up a few inches and cut the fender just below the signal mounts. I think that these exhaust will only really look good with integrated tail signals and no fender, like the vid in the post above.

If these were 2-3 inches longer it would work. Too bad. I think I will go for the Delkevics.

I agree too short. The ones in the first video hang down too low. The second video they are tucked up higher.

Longer like this two-brothers (or even 1 inch shorter than these) and I would buy the Danmoto's:

in that video the sound is distorted to much to ell how they actually sound. I am still partially tempted to by those but am now kinda dead set on the 900rr set up. although I may go alot shorter than builds of the past. i wouldn't mind coming out almost right under the pivot of the swinger. I know it'll be loud but it'll be very light also and the sound will come from down under the bike.

Common sense. So rare it's a god damn super power.
