Dam Dropped it!

So this morning I was backing the 919 out of my parking spot, focusing on being late more then what i was doing. Tripped over the kickstand and then over corrected and put the bike down on the left side. As I went down I ember the bike revving until the angle sensor killed the engine. I seem to recall a thread on hear about how even a few seconds down can damage these moters but i cant find it after searching, and am wondering if you guys think i need to do a full oil change or should she just be good to go?

I think you should just pick the bike up, dust her off and go about your business without giving it another thought unless you just like worrying yourself over what I consider to be nothing.

I said I never had much use for one.
Never said I didn't know how to use it."

Are you talking 2-3 seconds, or 10-30 seconds of being down before the bank angle sensor killed it?

I was gonna take your advice but when I checked the sight glass it was obviously ready for an oil change already! So I knocked that out and then took her out for some fun and a commute to work. Thank you for the vote of confidence and advice.

I'm happy that you and your ride are back in action.
I think many of us have done the very same thing a time or two me included in my 52 years of motorcycle riding.
Rubber side down and 95-5!
