It's ok. Those Ohlins look ancient.

They most probably did it back in 2002, when the bike was realesed.

I reckon they should have kept the single round headlight, changed the mirrors and installed a tail tidy.

I like the paint job, very "Brutale".

They are... Still gotta give him points for putting bargain bin old performance parts on a bargain bin bike!

He should be forced to let someone dump in his mouth a little over that flyscreen thingy though...

I think it looks like a shovel. Shovel's do not belong on bikes.

I clicked on the link hoping to see something cool, but there's not a single thing I like about that bike. The paint is interesting, but the headlights, windscreen and front fender look terrible. It makes me appreciate my simple, 'non-show' bike much more.

It now looks like a cruiser like a Valkyries little brother of something. Kinda gay....

OK a lot of gay.

Common sense. So rare it's a god damn super power.

I like the forks, rotors calipers.... but what is up with that fork brace? It must be more than 5 pounds!

Interesting... The brace on the swingarm looks very, erm...CUSTOM <cough>

I dont like the bike much, overall. With that paint scheme, it looks like is should have "Zap! Kerpow!" on the side of the tank instead of the Honda Wing decal.
That lower triple is pretty bad too...

Just for shits & grins, what's the scoop with Ohlins forks, LDH? what does fit the 919, and Do you have any in stock. if so...how much?

.

Well, fire the engines! Spur this iron space-pony on!

I was planning on running large diameter dual headlights on my 9'er. The 5.25" duals from aztec8, but after seeing this i think i changed my mind. Something about those larger duals just doesn't look right, could be the shovel windscreen

I'm glad to see he chose to keep the 'BEST' oem looking part on the 919.

Those OEM mirrors look KIILLLER!

Haha. I hate to say it but it doesn't appeal to me either.

The set-up make it look kinda bulky and overweight. On the plus side, old they may be, but those forks have got to work better than the stockers for sure.

The paint job isn't terrible, most everything else I wouldn't do to my bike though. And the top triple clamp...who thought that it was a good idea to hack together one with a welder instead of machining it?

if you love your motorcycle, set it free.. if it comes back and hits you.. you highsided

Why didn't he just buy a speed triple and be done? YUCK!

In 1915 T. Roosevelt said, in a speech to the KofC, "There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all. "

My thoughts:

Why go gray (grey) when you can go black? It would look so much better in black/red.

Stock rear fender? Really?.................really?

The chain, sprocket and y pipe are dirty. Oh, so is the asphalt.

I like the asphalt. Just not what's on it.

That's about it.
