CRG Mirror Help

I have read pretty much every thread on here about mirrors. Before I pull the trigger on CRG Highsight LS, I have to know what the install process is on stock bars. I have no plans on swapping out the bars for renthals etc.

SO my question is... Can I or can I not install the CRGs without removing my internal bar end weight, and without having to relocate my controls to move the grip inward (pin hole would need to be drilled). I just want to clamp the damn thing on but Im not sure if this is realistic.

Any help appreciated.

The PO of my first 919 had CRGs on the stock bars. As I recall, you have to have the internal adapters (sold separately, naturally)-- they won't just clamp on unless you want to drill new pin holes or grind off the locater nubs inside the controls to move everything inwards. I can't remember exactly now, but i think the stock weights are too close to the ends of the bars to use the expander thingies-- you have to source your own bolts to just screw them in.

Fine, I'm adding a signature, leave me alone!

Yeah I went ahead and bought a left one, not sure I will need both sides from what people are saying. I just replaced a broken bar end on the left that the shippers broke, I may cut the internal weight and leave it in there. I hope the adapter plus mirror will compensate for the lack of the external bar end.

Welp, to answer my own question - clutch side was pretty easy no adapter for the bar end required. If you want to keep the standard bar end.

I dont think this will work on the throttle side due to friction with the grip and the mirror so Ill probably have to use the adaptor on that side.
