Corbin color scheme 07' 919

Can I get some opinions on which color carbon Corbin would look best on a [email protected] red 919. I'm leaning towards that gray, but am scarred it might look funky.

Can't go wrong with black, and I'm a fan of black piping as well....says the man with the stock seat.

I have a black corbin with grey piping and wish it was black on black. I have some vinyl dye but can't find any tape that will stick to the leather.

I looked at a used Corbin, black with grey piping, didn't think it would look good on my all black bike. Also was shocked at how much the thing weighs, couldn't bring myself to bolt on an anchor after spending the last year reducing weight with carbon fiber slip ons and assorted goodies.

You should have no problem with regular or painters masking tape. You just have to wipe down the areas with windex or if that doesn't work use a low strength wax remover (test an area underneath first). You might have to clean and recondition the leather after you are done to restore original gloss. Be aware that the dye is not a permanent fix and will eventually wear off in the high-contact areas.
