Compatible Exhausts

Just picked up a set of headers off a CBR900 to put on the 9er. Now I need to decide on a can.

Will a 929 or 954 can fit on the stock CBR900 pipes?

No can on there. I just bought the headers...

wait, sorry. I have been looking on Ebay, just want to know my options as people list cans according to the model bike it came off of. I want to know if I buy a can that is sold as fitting a 919/954 it will fit the 900 headers. Just more options basically.

I believe (don't quote me) that any bolt-on can will fit the stock 900RR exhaust, but that doesn't mean it is designed for that engine. Your best bet would be to go with something made for the 900RR.

Is it a 900RR stock exhaust header or an after market header? Is it a flange on or a slip on? The OD of the exhaust pipe will get you a slip-on. The flange style will get the other type. If you know the manufacturer you could conact them.

Any one else wanna chime? From what Im looking at online, a bolt-on can for 929/954 looks like it will fit right on the bolt-on end of 900. Has anyone had an experience with this?

Big Kahuna, dont you ride a 900? Any idea?
