Check out this custom 9er

Honda : CB:eBay Motors (item 180410543828 end time Sep-28-09 20:05:34 PDT)

I think I might borrow that paint scheme, not the exact color, but the lines.

The only lines I like are leaning a little too far back.
Other than that, Not a fan.

I don't like it. Here is what stands out immediately as dislikes to me...

- Unfilled grab handle holes
- Hole and exposed bolts on the front of the rear cowl
- That monstrosity of an exhaust pipe
- It is lowered

I would actually really like the tank paint job it it were flat black and honda red with gold pin-striping separating the two colors.

I was just talking about the paint job. I've always wondered about some type of scheme with the shape of the tank and tail. I've seen the two tone with down the center racing stripe. But that tank would be nice. Matte black, gold piping, and a red honda emblem sure would be real eye candy.

Nope, not liking it either.

I just vomited a little bit... That's an UUUUUGLY 9'er...there should be a law against doing that!

yuck...don't dig at all. Not in any color. The pinstriping looks amateurish at best, and way over done.

If like the contrast on the tank - not the metallic, but a nice orange their or burnt yellow with the black. Different strokes!

It looks like he was trying to do a Roland Sands type deal, but yeah the graphics on the tank are way overdone.

Garage
He's put a whole 100 miles on it in 4 years, yet says it rides great. I'm guessing that solid rod rearend isn't terribly comfortable

Solid rod rear end, the only set up more stiff than the stock spring that's on most 919s now.

I'm seriously thinking about having my 919 painted yellow this winter. The reaso I say I'm thinking about it is, I still have Super Dukeitis.
