CBR900RR Exhaust Conversion Pics

Hey guys. I am going to do the CBR900RR header conversion. Post pics of your setup for inspiration. Will a Dan Moto Carbon GP work as the can?

There's some interesting photochops in here.

Will a Dan Moto work? As in, let the exhaust out? Yep, the question becomes how much noise you and your neighbourhood and local LEO's can get along with...

Thanks. I should mention, noise doesn't bother me. I had been running the twin Dan Motos until a couple weeks ago when I wanted to change up the look and switched to debaffled stocks. I want the 900rr to get rid of stink. Just can't deal with it anymore.

Here is my setup.

Mine is a combination of three pieces that I cut and welded to get it tight and clean against the 919 rear set.

Header ---- 98 CBR900RR

Midpipe ---- off cut from a GSXR750, welded to the 900rr header

Muffler ---- Yoshi Tri-oval, 4-bolt gsxr can to match mid pipe. Can shortened and then bolted to the 919 rear set.

I know it's an absolutely horrible picture. But all my other pictures are from the lowside. This was the day I bought her. 900rr headers. No idea on the can. Just says "competition use only"

Hey. If you do the 900rr exhaust you might want to remove the pair valves. I'm just suggesting it because depending on the can you use you might get a lot of popping on hard deceleration. When I bought my bike the pair valves were already removed. When the previous owner put the 900rr exhaust on my bike they cut the right side center mount bracket . The kid I sold that exhaust to said he didn't have to cut it off.
