That head light looks like one of those desert storm gas masks. I like the swingarm, dont know about the wheels. Makes my 9er look week & bland but I dont really want to trade.

Another bike the US won't get...boo. I like it, if we got it here, I'd consider trading my 9er for one.

I'm liking the chassis features, USD forks, radial mt brakes, single sided swingarm, 998cc motor, etc. But I'm not diggin' the boomerang looking side fairing, or the transformer robot headlight.

Well, I don't mind the boomerang-come-lightning strike side fairing but the can leaves me cold. The pipes look great from the front views. Seat height up an inch from the 9er is a problem for me though. No weight given yet.
Lets see what they look like "in the flesh".

The single-sided swingarm is pretty sweet. The upgraded shocks and engine are overdue and the new look is...ok (I guess) .

Alas I could never own one as it is cursed with a truly hideous exhaust.

I don't know wtf drugs the Honda engineers are on, but that's the most god-awful piece-of-proverbial-poop farking butt-ugly exhaust/shroud/cover whatever-the-fark-it-is I have ever had the misfortune to clap my sad and sorry eyes on.

What an abomination on a bike that looked to have a bit of promise .

I'm with you. The pic was taking a little time to load, so I was watching it unfold one line at a time. I thought "Man, this is one killer-looking bike." Then the exhaust was revealed. What the hell is that?

Yeah, I'm with you guys on the exhaust as well. They covered it on the right side and not the left? It looks very similar to the new cbr1000 exhaust so hopefully there will be lots of options to change it.

It may be a naked 1000 but that thing is FUGLY!

I guess to say SOMETHING positive about it the wheels, USD forks, and single swingarm are sweet.

And kudos to Bryce919er for nailing the look of the headlight.

Bring it to the States, make a centerstand available and it is sold.

I have to say that I really love the look of the new nekkid. The exhuast is a little over the top but that is unfortunetly due to Big Brother and the ever increasing emmision restraints. I am sure there will be many attractive aftermarket options by the time it comes stateside. There are somethings that will be changed by the owners just like the last gen. Over all, I think it has some real potential. I just hope they put the power where it should be for sensible street riding. After riding a couple of the 1000cc race replicas I could not get over the fact that I hardly ever got the revs near where the power really comes on. I am sure I could have but it just is not wise on the steet.

You can't get the CB1300 in the States, wtf are Honda doing to you guys?

I sat on one pre-Hornet and if it was slightly cheaper it would have had the nod. Nice looking bike.

Thank god I got my 919! That thing is hideous. I see Honda is falling right in line with everyone else and their fugly bikes. Yeah, USD forks, single sided swingarm and a new engine are cool, but who the hell wants to ride Megatron to work? I guess two-up is going the way of the dinosaur. Pretty soon you will have to wear the damn taillight on your back cause there won't be a tail at all.

I love it. Looks great and should be a runner. And by the time Honda actually sells in here my 919 might actually be worn out and due for replacement.

It does look better in red.

I won't be too unhappy if they don't bring it here right away. If they did I might have to buy it then be poor again.

Those pix made obvious a huge down grade from 9r. Its low pipe (like most sport bikes) raised the passenger's foot pegs, thus compromising their legroom. Looking like 9r could be my last Honda, fortunately it will last another five years of MANY miles.

It kind of grows on you the more you look at it. At first glance it is fugly, but after a few more looks .. it starts to look ok then kinda nice.

This bike has real potential. It has many of the much needed upgrades that we have been asking for. Okay, maybe the look of the headlight is kind of strange, but that is easy to fix compared to trying to make a 919 be capable of hanging-out with this new bike. This new bike is a real runner...

It's really that lightning bolt radiator shroud that I don't care for. I wonder what's under it? I could live with the power ranger headlight but to me that radiator shroud is trying too hard.

Probably the support bar. Wonder how it will look after I drill a hole in it and attach a protective cage.

I bet they dampended the engine mount and fixed the vibration issue!

Sorry, I've never seen such a hideous, and repulsive concoction of parts. There must have been 39 designers for this bike. Like the Tuono, and MV it's just styling with no goal in mind. Style for styles sake.

Is this when we start calling a great looking bike like the 919 classic?
