CB1000R or FZ1 ?

Well I guess the choice is easy.

Whats avalible at the dealer? " FZ1 ".

what would I reather buy? Honda, "duh"!

What happens when a Honda guy ride a Yamaha, < turn gay? poke my eye out?

Why will Honda build us a new dream machine but keep it from us? < "RAT"

FZ1 is also exactly what I want but is seems kinda gay for a red rider to ride a yamaha.

Honda is working out the bugs on the new CB1000R? I am sure that the CB1000R is perfect just the way it is?

HONDA how bout you let some American boys put their butt in the saddle of your new CB1000R.

I'll ride that new Honda any color, just don't put no pink or purple on it.

Oh yeah I realy don't want any BLUE bikes either
"hint hint" do not want a Yahmaha.
its a muntiny jump ship
oh no I'm turning blue
quick power wash the gay off me

V Max is about a big as a VTX isn't it?

VMax weight is about as much as a VTX isn't it?

I am sure if you want a good drag strip bike V Max out of the box is great.

I really like the fz1. A good friend of mine has one and we have swapped up bikes a couple of times. It is a very smooth and very sweet overall bike. I love my honda, but that fz1 competes. The gears are extremely tall, but still has a lot of pick up. He has had no problems with it at all. The bike in my opinion is more comfortable than the 919, but then again I have not ridden, seen, or probably will ever sit on the CB1000R.

Then I doubt you have ridden both! I have and the CB1000R is a much better bike! The the CB1000R had much better fueling and handling than the FZ1. Plus the FZ1 had a load of small niggles that bugged me (like if I rested the balls of my feet on the pegs then my heel was resting on the exhaust!).

I was thinking about the FZ1 before I ordered the 919.
Yea the Fz1 has the bling factor wheels, inverts, liter engine, price tag.
But I felt more comfortable on the Honda as it has a shorter seat height, its lighter,It doesent have that frikkin fairing, when I went to Barbers a few months ago I saw about 5 FZ1s just on the way there and once I got there too many to count Alabama must be the capital for the FZs I had the only 919 there Oh and of course the price tag and honda reliability and ive already done a few recalls on the FZs throttle position sensors.

The CB 1000R would be the bike for me after an after market exhaust installation. But we will never see it here as everybody here wants plastic or a cruiser.

Never say never. I'd be surprised if the CB1KR doean't show up in 09. In the meantime I'd buy a nice used Gen 2 FZ1. Then, if and when the Honda shows up and you want to trade, you won't loose much, if any money. Variety is the spice of life. I have 3 different bikes and I want more. I'd love to have a nicely modded FZ1. But right now, there's dirt bike calling my name.

Check out the big FZ message board. Lots of pissed off owners with cracked frames this year. Bad welds. Not good.

Sniper do you have any inside info?

That is what I am wondering if we will see the CB1000R in Hondas 2009 lineup in America.

If their is enough interest for the bike I don't see why they would not send them here also.

I would realy prefer the Honda

Inside info. Oh If I was only so lucky. Nooo...

But Honda has done it a few times before. Europe got the 919 a year before we did. History repeats itself. Certain markets like Europe get things a year before we do. Who knows why? If there is a precieved demand, and Honda thinks they will profit, they'll bring it.

If you want the CB1000R, convince Honda that there is a market.
