Caliper question

I have a problem, I'm a modaholic. Are the 929 and 954 calipers the same? I'm thinking about putting them on the 919... Only problem is that I have an 04 so I have to change out the front so they match the rear. I have the 900RR rear rim so I kinda wanna keep the 900RR rotor on it.

I need to sell some OEM parts before I do this though. I'll be keeping an eye out on ebay for a good deal.

Within the week I'll post a thread with my parts for sale.

Oh yeah. My girlfriend said when she works out for a little bit this summer she's gonna model on my bike!!! Bet you pervs can't wait to see that! I can't!

An easy way to tell for sure is simply go to RonAyers.com. I don't understand your reasoning behind the front and rear having to match. My 600RR came with Tokico's on front and Nissan on back.

You're going to do a whole lot of work for next to no return if you're looking for better braking performance, tho. The brakes on my 919 are just about as good as the ones on my 929. The brakes on my 600RR are nearly too much, unless it's the only bike you ride.

I want all gold or all black calipers. The 04 was the last year for black before they went to gold. If I put a 929 or a 954 on the back it would be gold. Don't wanna have black and gold. Gotta be uniform man!

Caliper paint. Go nuts!!

That being said, mine came used with bright red calipers... I could have stripped the paint off, but I swapped them for black ones. (found a set for just a couple dollars on ebay).

Thanks. You've been really helpful in me getting my "fix." Bidding on some 929 calipers now. I wanna put that 900RR rotor on the rear wheel. Gotta see more of those 6-spokes!

FYI. . .if you want to run the small 220mm 900RR rotor, you'll need to use a modified 900RR rear caliper mount.

Forget the bike. Honestly Hondastreetfight, we have all seen a lot of real Trick 919's, but hardly any of us have ever seen your girlfriend in a bikini.
So when she's ready just make sure you use a real camera, not a cell phone.
Also make sure theres good lighting. That's very, very important.
If she has some HOT girlfriends, well, get them in the photo's too!
Speaking on behalf of my WT bros., we thank you in advance.

Lol, I'll see what I can pull. Right now she thinks she's 'fat'. She's not, but she said when she has better confidence in the near future she'll do what I've been asking of her for a long time. Got her eating salads instead of meals and riding a bike for an hour a day. Hopefully she'll hurry the hell up and get mostly naked on my naked bike!

Oh yeah, I recently ran into some girls I knew from highschool who wanna go riding. I might be able to get them to do a little posing as well. Worth a shot anyways.

Whoa! I have never thought that looking at scantily clad females posing next to motorcycles as being "Peverted". Seems quite normal really, Now if a bunch of men sat in front of their computer screens checking out speedo wearing males posing on hotbikes, that would be "Perverted" in my mind!
Get that gal to the gym and pick her out one of them butt floss swimming suits and like the man said, get the lighting correct and using a hi quality camera, shoot them snat..er.. snapshots!!!!!!
Hows Va Beach these days, been over twenty years since I was stationed there and cruised up and down Atlantic Ave.

Va Beach is pretty nice. You get a ticket now if you go up and down Atlantic Ave more than twice an hour lol. Trying to cut down on traffic cuz the tourists I guess. All the bikes hang out at the BP station still.

Hondastreetfighter

You might forget about the old girlfriends, the shot you save may be your own, late one night, by your now strong and healthy girlfriend.
I should be back in Va Beach in late August for the birth of #12 g.child. I'm gonna hollow at Rodney when I go thru W.Salem, may try to meet a couple of you surfers while I'm there.

Just bought a 954/929 rear caliper for $31.54 with shipping. Have the 900RR caliper mount already (came with the axle and rim on Ebay for 60 bucks all together!), and I guess I'll just paint the caliper black.
