Post pics up if ya got them, I am wanting too paint mine black but wanted to see some first.

I'm thinking about this, too. So, I'm hoping someone posts a picture. I saw Mike's with the grab handle and side cover, both of which look a lot better in black, IMO.

I have actually done this to my 9'er and really like the look of it. Unfortunately I do not have any pictures of this and my bike is about 1500 miles away from me being that I am in texas....

I remembered seeing a couple of bikes with black h/l rings posted before, here's Anti-Shadows and Brevity's fine looking machines.....

IMO Anti-shadows is a little too much black. The other one is nice though.

You're welcome, hope those two guys don't mind me showing off their bikes.

I chose to keep my h/l ring chrome on my bike as I blacked out everything else, with asphalt black I thought it looked better with a few bright accents.

My wife who is an artist (and rides her own 599) looked at all the pictures and recommended keeping the ring chrome. So, it will stay chrome, while the grab handle, cut down rearsets, radiator pieces and side covers are going black.
