Yeah, umm, pedal2themedal, when you post in one catagory it shows up on the new posts page, so you don't have to repeat the post in all the other forums.

Unfortunately though I don't know the answer to your question, don't recall anyone talking about bike shipping.

This would be excellent info, I think I'm getting ready to have to ship my son's bike back to Houston from Fort Bragg. I'd sure like it to cost as little as possible.

It came form Nashville, TN. to me in Burlington , NC . - I chose a slower transport time to save cash and it cost me about $400 or $450 , I cant find my recipt and my memory is fuzzy - I would have spent at least than in fuel, not to mention my time -

I used Forward Air https://www.forwardair.com/prepaid/MCmainpage.jsp to have a 919 shipped from Dallas to Seattle. It was very simple and it cost about $450.

I haven't heard of anyone on here mentioning discounts or working at a shipping company though. Good luck.

mdtoney's got one of the fastest 919's out there, why his bike has reached speeds well over 450 mph! Well, even if it was on a plane!

Actually it's probably one of the slowest 919s out there... The name says forward Air, but they ship the containers on trucks, and make various delivery stops along their routes. It took a week or two to get from Dallas to Seattle.
I just looked through some old paperwork and see that it actually cost me $525 to ship it, so there may be some cheaper methods out there.

My neighbor sold a bike on EBay, and Allied picked it up at his house and sent to Conn. for about $520. It was a mid sized dirt bike. Sounded good to me.

I've used forardair before but the cost was closer to 600.00. They ship to terminals, you collect the bike batta beep batta boop.
