Bar Swap

an obvious shot in the dark, but worth tryin'. I have suburban bars on my 919.
http://www.suburban-machinery.com/honda_919.htm
Been great. No vibration at all and a bit lower more agressive position. I am very interested in getting a "motorcross" style handlebar. (crossbraced) Sooo anyone here interested in a swap? Preferably black, but ill count myself lucky if anyone is interested...

...and if not, anyone know of a good crossbraced bar for the niner?

Renthal CR125's, which I recall is the 722 (?). Can't see much difference between these and the Renthal Ultra-Low's other than the brace. I posted pics in some bar thread awhile ago comparing these to the bend on the Coerce,

Is the cross brace just for looks or does it actually do something?

The Pro-Tapers I have on Mine are great -School Boy Lows - not sure that the Cross Bar does much, but i guess if i land the front tire too hard i know i'm not going to scratch my helmet.

You might be able to modify the bars you have.

Take a look at: http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade...tview/343/219/

The brace is good...the fittings are flimsy. Remove them, and add these http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/produc...fCatId=&mmyId=

I'm running the Honda CRF450 bend Rentals on my 919 and I like them a lot, but I also ride a CR250R in the dirt, so I dig the wider feel of these bars
I have them in grey so they kind of match the asphalt paint, too
here's a pic...
