Badass Buell

Lots of nice custom Buells out there but I thought this one was extra cool.

Very nice pics and customs. Everyone knows my love of V-Twins, but for some reason I have never liked or appreciated the Buells.

It's better to have loved and lost than live with the psycho for life!

The clutch is a twist like the throttle. And the front brake is probably linked to work from the foot

That headlight looks like an internally lit snatch. Pretty much sums up my opinion of the bike as a whole.

2003 Honda 919 - flapper mod, Clear Alternatives Smoke Tailight w/ integral turn signals, Stebel Nautilus air horn, DIY fender eliminator, LED license plate bolts, LED front turn signals, no resistor or new flasher so I blink like crazy.

I wanted a Buell for years. Finally (about 2 years ago) got to the point of maybe buying one. The first two dealers couldn't get their bike to start for a test ride. The third dealer got the second bike to start, it was fun to ride but I couldn't handle the problems.....

I rode the xb12r at daytona last year. It was NOT impressive. Every crack of the throttle at idle resulted in shutdown, and the incredible torque I was expecting was elusive. I think the 9'r could leave it.

Yeah, I had a dream the other night that I got beaten on my 9'r by a Harley. I knew immediately it was a dream, 'cause that's the only place a Harley would beat me on the 9'r!

Yeah me too...

Did you notice it has no controls for brakes or throttle.

And the exhaust looks extremely constricted at the ends.

Even if this bike exists, I doubt its very functional.

Barton's 919 would probably beat it off the line.

I heard Barton's 919 smoked six karate masters on ZX-14's with turbos.

How many shoe-horns did it take to wedge that man into that suit?

Actually none. Due to the design - using the full accordion on the back and front, the suit is a nice snug fit for him.

I test rode a Buell Xb9.....(can't remember which one right now) last spring. The bike itself was alright, nothing special to me. The test ride that I went on (was a demo day) was annoying because it was nothing but in town crap. Oddly, the thing that annoyed me the most is the exhaust dumping right on my foot. Might not have even noticed if I didn't spend so much time at stop signs on the ride.
