Aprilia Tuono Factory 2007

Tuono Factory 2007
Motorbox Article

I like the all ohlins Tuono R from a few years back but i've not spent any time on a twin based sportbike (tuono, rc, tiller etc.) ...may have to eventually just to do it

for sure i'd have one version or another in the dream garage or if i was dave, i'd have one in my garage for everyone to use

+1!! That thing is hideous! Why a silver swingarm on a gold frame, with gold forks... and blue wheels...and red, white and black plastic... WHY?!

I rode a Tuono on Saturday. What an engine!

But when I got back on my 919, I thought, "this thing is no slouch either".

The Itialian doesn't do nearly as well on gas as what the 919 does.

Is it me or does it look a little thick for a twin. And I just love the blue wheels. Don't ask me why but I love it. Probably the way some people think gold is hot.

I hate gold, unless it's ohlins. Does that mean I like gold?

I think I may be one of the few that likes the busy colors scheme.

If I had more time to ride, I'd love to have one in the garage. Can't keep the dust off what's sitting there now! Ratdog, if you want to take the RC come get it. I've never been one hung up on the, no one can ride my bike thing. It's only a bike. As long as no one gets hurt, who shives a git? It's set-up for 230-240lbs right now.

Looks like it's been put together from spare parts from different bikes.
(I'm talking about the color scheme here)
I can see about 4 different shades of gold alone FFS.
I wouldn't mind seeing it in all black, but keep the blue wheels!

Yeah come on up I'll let you take her for a spin. The new motor doesn't have low end hit like the 03-05. I still have to take a new one for a ride myself. Yeah what italian was drinking the Sambuca when he did the paint scheme. The bike is awesome with the Ohlins. I rode a factory last year big difference suspension and brakes.

thanks Generous-D, appreciate that...motivation to drop a few lbs in anticipation of some track time and test rides

thx man, would be cool to check it out...now that i've got satos on the 9r, i'm wondering how the ergos compare to the stock tuono but most importantly, will the low end grunt of a twin tempt me...

(who knows...but the new naked-liter bike from Honda sure will)

cheers
