Anyone have this 919, LED tail light?

Found this on ebay: 07-08 HONDA HORNET CB600 CB 600 LED TAIL LIGHT+SIGNALS : eBay Motors (item 360226870750 end time Jan-26-10 20:10:49 PST)

It looks like it accomplishes all that the Competion Werkes light does, but appears to have fewer LED's.

Price is good though.

I would sure like to hear first hand reviews.

Where is the best price on the Competion Werkes integrated light?

OK, I'm apparently learning too fast from this board, and the brand names of parts are getting jumbled in my noggin!

What I meant to say was the Clear Alternatives integrated taillight.

Discovered my mistake a few minutes ago while attemping to price shop online for the "Competion Werkes" taillight.

That ebay light is for the 599, not the 919.

I have the clear alternatives integrated tail light, but it was already on the bike when I bought it. Not sure where the best price is. Sorry.

In my opinion, I would not rely on the integrated turn signals alone (Clear Alternatives or other). I had to keep the fender because I'm using Givi sidecases (the mount requires the use of the rear fender), so I have turn signals installed in addition to the Clear Alternatives signal.

you can, its just going to take some splicing and soldering. I'm not sure off hand how much that'd slow your blink rate down though.

Actually, I never thought about that. The bike had both when I bought it. The install for the Givi rack requires the support tube to run through the holes previously occupied by the stock signals, so I bought aftermarket signals and relocated them to the brackets that previously had the round reflectors on them. I tested the CA turn signals prior to this to determine what I thought of their visibility. It was okay, but not quite enough in my opinion.

I'm too lazy to pull the plastic off the bike just to satisfy my curiosity about how the PO hooked up both, but I'll definitely check it out next time I have reason to get into there.
