Anybody Got Spare 919 Wheels?

Hey. Was cleaning the 919 tonight and to my horrors discovered BOTH rims are damaged. The front is really bad. The back is barely dinged.

So I really need the front bad. I would like to replace both.

I know what happened. I hit a major pothole that was hidden by a larger puddle. BAM! Weird thing is bike rides and handles perfect.

Shoot me a PM if you have wheels.

That sucks! Sorry, I don't have any wheels for you, the same thing happened to a friend of mine a couple weeks ago, the pothole looked like some gravel until you were right on top of it, it was 6 or 8 in. deep, luckily (not for him) I was following.

I had that happen awhile back, too. I thought I was ok until I mounted my new tires a few weeks ago. BaDing! fortunately it's just the front, and it doesn't sound nearly as bad as your situation....

...Post up some pics of the damage!

Well, fire the engines! Spur this iron space-pony on!

I've got both. I replaced both of mine with customs a while back, so thery're in pretty much perfect condition. Let me know what your thoughts are.

Make sure you get them from a reputable source. I got a front wheel off of ebay and no road rash. Spend hours prepping the wheel to get painted and my brother then painted them. Mount the tire and get them balanced at Cycle Gear and the dude shows me the
wheel on the tire balancer and the thing is bent as hell. Luckily the rear wheel was good. Just be careful because you won't always be able to tell visually.
