Anybody got a Akrapovic PCIII map???

Hey guys, I recently put in a set of Akrapovic Titanium pipes, and just got my PCIII installed tonight. I installed the 2bros map for now, and rode it around the block once (its getting late and didn't want to piss off the neighbors). It definatly helps having the PCIII, but I think the map could use some work. I'll try a few more of the maps I got from 919.org, and from Dynojet tomorrow. I was just wondering if anyone had used Akra's, and maybe had a good map for these pipes? Just thought I'd ask and see if someone could maybe save me some time and hassle, I appreciate any suggestions. I've looked all over this site, and others, and have never seen an Akra specific map, and would of course like to not have to spend the money on Dyno time, cards are maxed out now thanks to you guys influence!

Anyway...thoughts?

Yea, I have a map I downloaded I just can't remember where it's from or the original name. Maybe Dan Kyle or Dyno Jet. It was a full system with a K&N filter map. I will see if I can get it downloaded and post it here. Did you set up the accelerator pump function? It alone is worth the price of addmission. You may want to play with acc. pump settings before trying a bunch of maps.

I may need some help!!! Shoot, I've tried a few different maps now, seems the Sato from Dan kyle is working the best, but now I've got a CEL!!! Frack!! The cel is blinking at me 8 times, and being a mechanic I'm assuming thats a code for something, but what I don't know. It also doesn't wanna idle now either, shuts off if I don't hold the throttle. What the heck did I do?? Anybody got a reference on these codes, or ideas?? BTW, Thanks in advance guys!

Thanks Tom!

Somehow I fixed it....I think it was a loose connection. I removed the tail section and checked all my wiring and solder joints. While taking it apart the CEL went off. I wiggle tested the heck out of it and can't get it to come back on, so I'm happy for now

Installed the Sato2 map from Dan Kyle, it seems to work the best of all of 'em. Then tinkered with the Accelerator pump option (Thanks for that BTW, I wouldn't have even seen that!! ) Now she try's to throw me off the back and flip over if my wrist gets to twitchy!!!

I still think the right map for these pipes would have even better results, but I guess I'll have to wait for some Dyno time.

Thanks again guys, I really appreciate ya!

I live in Vernon BC Canada and the altitude is about 400 meters (about 1300ft above sea level). I've pretty well tried most of the "Akra" maps out there and the Sato map is by far the best one short of visiting the local dyno, which we do not have out here .
I have not been using the accelerator pump feature as I have found my gas mileage plumets. Its fun to use once in a while especially with a 15t sprocket up front.

cheers
