anybody ever used these tunes from the drop box?

im just curious, what the elevation for them is etc as well as fuel, i run 91 or higher as the Manuel states to do. here are the files btw im in the middle of illinois idk what the elevation is haha
919 rich map says peak power and tq made by dan kyle
919 yoshi map from dynojet
919 simpson map
and whatever else,
what would you suggest for a bike with twin yoshis, baffles removed, flapper mod, 91plus octane fuel, central illinois elevation, and pair valve mod done... im lost as to which one to use, most of my riding is above 4k rpm as i am at 16/45 gearing and i regularly race people.

You might want to recheck that manual. It says to use 87, NOT 91. You should start with the Mori version 4 map. It was so good that my tuner only had to adjust low/mid for traffic to smooth out the throttle response.

The default map for aftermarket twin canned 919s should be the Mori V4 map in my opinion.
But don't just load the map in, also be sure to synch the PC to the Throttle Position sensor.
Because of your stated riding you might also want to try the Dan Kyle 919LBsato-DK.
Then LDH's final tweak of that which is 919LBsato-DK-MW3.
My Yosh map is the Ben W Map.
See the Notes on the map files for more info.
Re Dropbox re Power Commanders.
See Power Commander Files.
See McRomo44 Compilation and the subfolders within.

so will any of those maps be an issue with my illinois elevation, lol and yes i ride this bike HARD in straight lines and twisties, no chicken strips here just looking for a better tune that what it is now, its stock other than pair, flapper, and yoshi slip ons( cosmetic upgrates as well) i talked to dyno jet and they said use their yoshi map. but ill assume all of the drop box files are safe to use... just dont wanna hurt my baby!

What is your elevation?

DK's maps as well as my own are made at sea level (especially now that we are in the same shop and no longer on opposite sides of the Mississippi) and are generally good for about 4500-5500 feet of elevation change before an optimization at the new elevation would be beneficial. You can run them to much higher elevations than that, but that is in my opinion from testing about the limit of performance for a map built for "power" at one elevation and used in another.

I don't know exactly but I am smack dab in the middle of Illinois so I'm sure I'm fine! What HP numbers did you get? I'm looking for power and reliable haha

109rwhp at almost 69ft/lbs with the Sato Cans, but that wasn't what was important to me. What I wanted was a linear delivery curve and a super responsive throttle and that is the real reason for creating the map.

Google says the average elevation of Illinois is 600 feet above sea level. Thank you Google. Again

That map is inferior to those suggested.
