lol, all that work on that R1, he still can't take a decent pic.

That guy's got the right idea tho. If you don't like the performance of your standard naked bike, take matters into your own hands. I like it alot. I have a pic of a 929 done up like that.

That Ducati is definetly cool & naked.
I did a double take on the R1,
I still love my 9'r!
I haven't seen another 919 here in GR.

Yawn.

IMO, it's a good job of converting to a naked, but the finished product is about as visually interesting as an Amish car. Nothing draws attention, no sweep to it at all, in fact if it wasn't for the headlight the eye would slide right off it. A perfect example of why they make more than one flavor of ice cream.

Ah well, I'll bet it's a blast to ride.

Just my opinion.

Rob

If it has already been done, it is safe to assume it is possible to do it.
On the other hand, if it has not been done never assume it is impossible to do it.

Yawn as far as a fabricator may see it, A machinist might think the headlight mount blows, and not mention it because its negative.

One area the aftermarket sector really hasn't addressed is the high pegs of sportbikes. Do we really need that much clearence on a streetbike? It seems to me it'd be very easy to make a stock peg hanger with 2 sets of drilled and tapped holes. One for the track and one that's about an inch and a half lower for the street.

So Gert, guess this means you'll be continuing with your plan to completely chrome out the 9'er?
