Unhappy another vibrations victim

ok ok I admit I did not follow the advice clearly listed here about putting locktite on my bar ends.
yes somewhere in vermont or upper new york state is my poor oem bar end weight and screw.

if anyone has an extra bar end weight lying around please let me know.
I will exchange a pair of mittens with knitted string attached for an oem bar end weight, I figure with so many 919ers with crg mirrors and renthal bars, someone will be able to send it to me.
(seriously they are 17.00 each here, if no one replies then i will bite the billet and buy them here)

2. re napoleon bar end mirrors, wow what frustration! after my weight fell off , I thought this is a sign that I should get some bar end mirrors. wow not so easy.
sorry but if you have stock bars and don't want to file down the pins these are a major pain to install.
I did not want to do any major filing or stuff, and the clutch and brake bump against the mirror base.
I checked out sneaky steve's video and he turned his clutch and bread angle down, not really for me.
so back to finding a oem bar end weight.

( I will pay shipping from wherever to vermont or champlain new york)

Thanks Mr Clean

There's a bar end and bolt laying in Ohio if you need it.

Well since my bike is totaled, I happen to have a couple of OEM bar ends lying around here. Send me a pm with your shipping info if you want them.

I lost both mine with in the first 600 miles on my 06 919 with no miles when i bought it. But I got a new pair from the dealer for 19$ for the set. I didn't blue glue them back on I just used the biggest screwdriver i could find that would fit the screw and tightend the crap out of um..6000 miles later there still just as tight... go figure..
