An introduction

Hello all, I am new here and just picked up my 919 today (at 9:19am no less, didn't even plan it that way). I was actually told about this site from the service manager at work (who oddly enough owns a 919 and is a member of this board).

I'm looking foward to a nice long life with the 919. I didn't even own it 15 minutes and I had already ordered the renthal bars and different mirrors.

I'm sure that this is the place to find out all of the stuff I ever wanted to know about this bad ass ride. Is there any local rides/events that are coming up? Any info/tips you want to give me would be great.

Good to see you here Joecool. I'm in austin also. Had my 07 919 since may.
Only mod is a penske shock. This is the best place for 919 fans. There are 150 or so pages in this naked forum going back years and they're still relevant
as these bikes have changed very little since the original '02. What year is your 919?

That is true my friend, I did throw myself in the boat.

I don't remember who asked but my 919 is a brand new 07. I got it from where I work (cowboy honda in kyle, tx). I've been with the company for over a year but at this store for little over a month.

I worked at their harley dealer in austin before and just wasn't happy there and didn't see myself going anywhere there. But, now i'm here and that is all that matters. The guys I work with are great and there is never a dull moment.

Welcome to W/T hope you post some pics of your bike soon. Take the factory stickers off first or super sneaky steve will have something to say about it. Also do the flapper mod ASAP.

OK. How much does he weigh? And how long is he? Oops...maybe TMI on that one!

And, yes, you should definitely use an avatar similar to the one Sbeau posted!
