Wow, a flash from the past.

I remember when we first saw/heard about this bike ages ago, don't think it was red back then.

Wonder if him selling it means the CB1KR is on the way to the U.S. ?!?!?

Think it was LDH to mentioned to Al he didn't think there wouldn't be enough interest in the 929 triples to warrant a small production run....bashtid !!

Anyone know where the bar clamp in this pic came from? And what is the digital readout that is attached to it?

2003 Honda 919 - flapper mod, Clear Alternatives Smoke Tailight w/ integral turn signals, Stebel Nautilus air horn, DIY fender eliminator, LED license plate bolts, LED front turn signals, no resistor or new flasher so I blink like crazy.

It is an entirely different triple for use with the different forks.

Looks Rizoma upper clamp bridge and a LCD clock stuck on with double side tape.

That bar looks just like the one in my Dennis Kirk catalog. But hey, if calling it an Aprillia bar makes you a bastage, who am I to argue?

It's the exhaust header that has my interest.

The front end conversion looks nice, but I'll bet it rides about like a nicely set up 04 with an Ohlins. I also wonder about the rear shock, what is that?

It is some version of a SHOWA Kit shock

I've tested some of them in the past against the Ohlins stuff and wasn't all that impressed. Having said that with Al's resources he could have easily had it revalved and resprung many times over as needed then again it might have just been something he had sitting on the shelf & has now served its purpose perfectly...

I noticed this as well - You'd think he has spent enough time @ the track to have figured out how to get rid of them !?!

Al's 919 really shouldn't have chicken strips.

Nope, I still have several new PR3's to use up before I even think about the Power One's

Funny enough, I am currently running the Michelin 1246A Superbike Slick on the front & a Pirelli SC2 Slick on the rear. They are working VERY well together too...

Cool - Ive burned my last set of Diablo Supercorsas and Dragon Supercorsas last week @ Road A -Ive heard really good things about the Ones, just not quite sure to make the switch, the biggest perk to them is the price - One can get them rather cheaply if you have a racing lisc. from Moose !
