Akrapovic headers, Ohlins shock fitted

Pretty much straight forward as described here except having to trim the main stand bracket. Reall makes the under seat area less crowded & clears up any worries about the left exhaust being near the Ohlins res' and the braided hose.

Forks, Pazzo levers & a can are next on the list.
Cheers all
Mark

Thanks for your comments guys, from what I can tell the motor was blacked out for the last two years before being killed off here in the UK. As you can see the headers haven't been used yet, they'll almost instantly go goldy coloured when the engine warms them up. I will do a sound clip when I get a can fitted. The main stand bracket is a shame and will end up being trimmed some more purely for aesthetics.
BTW how do I post pictures here so you guys don't have to open links?

Very nice. Can't wait to see and hear it with a can fitted.

Yours isn't? Must have come from Canada. Never seen a 9er in this neck of the woods with anything else.

@ hornet641: Those headers look really nice.

The places my 919 has taken me:

We stand defiant against the kph! All our speedos are in statute mph. And as we ride/drive on the correct side of the road headlamps have a left bias. Bikes imported from manufacture are designated UK spec & we don't have have power limits as they do in some mainland european countries. Hey crakerjac, you may wanna shop local as a new set of clocks will work out to about 1100 of your finest US dollars. Yoiks!!
Oh yeah, gimme a break about tail tidying, have you seen a UK plate?! May as well call it an air brake & be done! Will get round to it this week. I like the clear lenses but may go for some nice billet ally ones I've seen.
