Garage
YES!

They'll also be lighter and probably get rid of stink.

This is a guarded yes. I just put headers for 93 to 97 cbr900rr on my 04 919. There may be some small problems but the system should fit. Are you buying a new system like I did, or putting a used system on. The reason I ask is level of risk acceptance.

Where the pipes turn exiting the head they go over a tube thats part of the frame. My headpipe touched these enough that I thought they may rattle. I peened the pipes with a ball peen hammer to ensure clearance. The other problem was getting new gaskets. You would think the dealer would stock them since they fit everything but, my dealership only had 2. It sucks to wait but, the price is warped exhaust valves if you run it with a leak there. It pulls cold air in on the exhaust valve when you get off the gas. Thats it really, the muffler bracket was no big deal. The header pipe clearance is probably manufactoring tolerance. Do it.
