A Yammy FZ1 I'd like to have. . .

. . .but with a lil' more discreet color combo (ie. black wheels). . . although, I'd like to see it in the retro Kenny Roberts' killer bee livery, Corporate Yammy blue, or 919 Asphalt Grey. ---A very nice naked bike from Graves Motosport! And get this. . .it's up for auction (remember the Roland Sands' 919)! Check for details in the Graves website. --I want it! Ohlins, Marchesini, Brembo, Graves' tuning, etc., etc. NICE!! Check out that rear rotor!

I agree the color scheme is a little "loud" for my taste, but damn that's a nice FZ1!! The nicest I've seen.

If you get it and don't have room for all those nice bikes, PM me on your 919!

Hey Mike!!
When are you gonna get that 919 project going??!!
After this past weekend ride on the 9er, I stopped by Cycle Gear to chat with the guys working there. ---I'm still not surprised at the number of who don't know what a 919 is (was)!! All who rode up and saw the 9er thought it was a 2008 Honda!!

She's a keeper. . .

Hey Roy, I don't blame you for keeping that beauty! It just kills me every time I see a photo of it. I'm actually getting an engagement ring for my girlfriend tonight so the project will be on hold for just a little longer. She's just as anxious as I am for me to get another bike and get the project started. I also told her I'd teach her to ride and get her a smaller bike. Of course she wants it to be personalized and tricked out too! Maybe a 599 or SV650? Not sure yet.
She loves riding dirt bikes at Glamis and Dumont but she's never ridden on the street, and got a little freaked out after my accident last year. But she's open to the idea of riding and willing to take the safety course and do a track day to learn.
Hopefully the project(s) get started soon!
Mike

The more I look at that FZ1 the more I like it (not the fairing though...) I'd love to see it with a reversed paint scheme - black with yellow and silver graphics, and black wheels with yellow pinstripes! I bet that think is a blast to ride!

The yellow wheels are way too much. The Dunlop sticker is tacky and the screen is too narrow. All that stuff is minor. I like it alot.

I like it a lot. It was between a fz1 or a niner for me, and I went with the 919.
