95 cbr900rr header

Does anyone know if a 95 cbr900rr header will fit a 2007 919? I want to do the conversion.

Heres a link I followed that stated what years fit. https://www.wristtwisters.com/f94/wha...ders-1495.html

I also used the link under helpful topics, under exhaust mod including 900rr.
I just got done with the conversion and LOVE IT!!!

My understanding is that there were 2 styles of 900rr header, early and late. Others have stated from experience that the early style WILL NOT WORK on the 919. What I'm not sure about is the crossover but I believe 96 and newer is the late style and 95 and before is the early style that does not fit.

I'm fairly certain if you look at aftermarket 900rr mufflers, there is a 96-99 version and a 95 and earler version.

Bottom line is I'm pretty sure you want at least a '96 pipe.

Earlier headers do fit.

In fact, the early black header and system looks awesome.

The muffler mounts are rotated slightly differently - later cans fit, but may not "aim" properly, depending on the can.

Some headers require slight grinding/cutting of one bracket, possibly the centerstand bracket on the right side, no big deal, easy to do but something to consider.
