919 yosh exhaust

I want to get the yosh trs slip ons, but I hate the tip. Are the tips changable, cause I've seen yosh exhaust with these cool a$$ carbon tips, that just have a bitchin shape. Also, I've found some cheaper sites to pick 'em up, but where do you guys recommend to purchase them? And a pcIII as well. thanks for the advice.

Not sure which version you hate, but the newer ones have a different tip than the older ones - they don't really stick out at all any more, basically a flat end cap with a hole in it. Those carbon ends do look a lot better, but I'm not sure they're interchangeable. An e-mail to Yoshimura might answer the question. http://www.yoshimura-rd.com/

I have the old style yoshis with the aluminum end caps. They can be repalced if you can locate a pair of the new style caps. Just have to drill the rivits as you would when repacking the mufflers and replace the caps, then re-rivit the things back on. No big deal there. The hard part will be finding a pair of the caps. bikes that have been down (shudder at the thought) usually crap on the cans first, and yoshi isn't gonna sell just the caps when they are in business to sell the whole package. But good luck anyway
