919 Service Manual on CD?

Anyone know where I could find a Service manual for the 919's in soft copy..
I just got ordered a hard copy (well won on ebay) but would like to have a soft copy on the computer for refernce (and probably print whatever I may be workin on to avoid oiling up the hard copy)

Thanks

I got mine off of ebay a couple months ago.
There were a few folk flogging 'em at that time.. Can't see any now though.

Might just need to keep an eye out. Someone's bound to offer them again before long.

I was actually looking for a hard copy at the time, but couldn't find any, so I opted for the CD instead.
Glad I did now, storing on the 'puter and printing pages as you need 'em is very handy indeed.

Sorry, not a lot of help I know, but it's worth keeping an eye on eBay just the same.

Yeah, I just bought one too. I also have the parts look-up EPC, but haven't got it to work yet, but I will.

This is a temporary link. Please do not cross link this to other sites and forums as it will be gone in a few days.

GET IT NOW.

For you guys that have PM'd me regarding the service manual CD -

It is easier for all interested to download the file from one of the sources mentioned my Motocycho and Typhoonblue. I was thinking about posting it myself due to the number of requests.

I am still willing to send out CDs if that works better for you guys - wouldn't have made the offer in the first place if I thought of it as a hassle.

So any of ya'll that decide to download it yourself please PM me back and let me know. If you prefer to have a CD I'll still be glad to send it, just don't want to be wasting time if anyone decides to go with the download option.

Thanks,

RB

Many thanks to MotoCycho for the link, and thanks to razor for the offer of the CD (PM sent, don't need now). I wanted a copy so I could get my manual back from one of those non-returning borrowers. I think I'll take him the CD copy, get my manual, and borrow his wife.

You guys are killing me bad here. I am going to move files to another server.. a faster one. I will be stopping my web server briefly until I have removed the files. I am uploading as fast as I can to new location. No need for new link I will simply redirect the existing one.

Sorry for the inconvenience but I have to work and my Internet connection is on it's knees from this.

Stand by.

UPDATE:

Redirect is in place. Files are being uploaded now and will be complete by 13:00 PDT.

Again, sorry for any inconvenience you may have experienced when I stopped my web server.

Moto, your files aren't working for us mac users, unfortunately. (Or am I the only one?)

Well.. sorry man. It's a PDF file in a multi-part RARchive with an SFX.exe to extract. There has to be a RAR application for macs?

Maybe try this: UnRarX

and this for the PAR2 files if you need to PAR2 check them.

par2 version 0.4 for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger

Although, I don't think I included enough blocks to make any meaningful recovery from the set. At least you would know which file to grab over again eh?

That should keep this thread going.
And if you're posting on his system he might know now.

Thanks Cycho,
Only 400 + pages of fun reading! (download worked great) Appreciate the sacrifice of your work system.

And glad to see that we have some Mac users in the community. I have to run both types of systems due to my work requirements but prefer the Mac whenever possible!

Ah well... Got my CD from eBay.. all good.

Bloody good show making it available though mate!
Nice one! :santa:

It's efforts like this that make forums such as this so cool to keep an eye on!

Now, if anyone can figure out a way to email me some free Carbon or Titanium Satos.....

Hey now... I'm a systems admin and I trust NO users. Lock em down says I... makes my life easier. Now for the mac question earlier. I have the plain old pdf file and it works fine on my mac.

I don't think his problem was with the PDF file, but rather the RARchive I had it wrapped in. I guess we'll know if he sorted this out when he tells us?
