919 Owners Heads Up...

I added a Heads Up to the helpful topics thread at the top of the naked bike forum. I realize it is too little too late for some but for the rest of you I would strongly advise this small ounce of prevention.

Good stuff, Mike. Maybe there ought to be a Technical Forum with (to start) a 919 subforum. Would make it easier to find and organize for all bikes.

These have already almost dropped out before I notice them and all before 5k miles! Also watch out for the screws on your throttle housing body and clutch on the handle bars. I've replace one and another is missing now.

Always good to have some fore-warning.

Thanks for keeping us on our toes.

Too often we lose sight of life's simple pleasures.
Remember when someone annoys you, that it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown ...
But it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and bitch-slap that mother- upside the head...

Pass it on.

Thanks for the "Heads up" Mike..
My bar ends came loose after just the first week from picking the bike up at the dealers. Solved the problem now by changing bars. ;-)

Good call on the gear shift pivot bolt though, I'll keep an eye on that one.
Actually, I tend to check over the whole bike every so often anyway as a matter of course, but I'll pay specific attention to that now that it's been brought up.
Cheers,
