919 lovers, post up!!!

Okay, just for the sake of getting under F4i's skin, let's all post up pics and sing the praises of our beloved 919's (I would've posted this in the 'general' section, but he would've moved it...). To make this really irritating to F4i, we all need to add some great pics and prose! Jump in!! Post up, newbs and vets alike. Even throw in some baby Hornets if'n ya want.

I'll go first! Here's my baby!!

Now I'm not saying that my 9er is the ONLY bike in the world. Far from it. But she's GREAT!!! Here's more...

I'll even throw in a stocker straight from the shiny brochure...

She even likes to get dirty!

quick question

I just saw the second picture in you new thread and was wandering what you did to black out your swingarm as well as the rear sets and their mounts and the headlight mount, ect. I was considering going to a powder coater in town to do the same thing on my 04 silver and black 919, but wasn't sure. The other day i bought a can of engine spray in semi gloss black and did the radiator guards and their screws as well as the silver triangle covers and their screws right under the tank. I was also planning on do the exhaust in black. So just curious how yours is done and how you liked it.

Thanks
Zack

Zook--Edit your reply to sing at least some praises of your 9 (throw in a pic, too) and I'll be glad to answer your questions...

I'll introduce myself here. I've been lurking on this site for awhile, so I'll post up a (poor quality) photo of mine. She's a little worse for wear since this photo was taken, as she has been knocked over not once, not twice, but three times on the cruel streets of San Francisco. regardless, i can't sing the prasies of this trusty stead enough.

the ASV's are a straight bolt on -
the Clutch lever is a long reach though - has to do with the anti-break hinge they have on them - do to the hinge and the clutch cable the lever is WAY out there - doesn't even fit inside the hand guards.

Great bunch of bikes! It's like the 919's are reasserting their dominance

First the praise and prose...

My 919 rocks! It was refined, smooth and quiet when I bought it, reasonably fast, but very civilized. Then it evolved, one part at a time, blacker, lighter, louder, meaner, faster. Now it's a snarling streetfighter, slightly uncivilized, rumbling, snorting, ready to lunge forward as I grab a handful of throttle and feel it scream to redline.

Ok, now for the great pics...

and the baby Hornet...

And what the hell, both of them together...

I love my 919 and plan on keeping it until it is no longer able to be repaired. It is actually AJCombs old 919. got it front him on April 8th. The picture in the back of my truck is at the gas station 2 miles from AJ's house. The second is just today after i have changed a good bit on the bike.
