919 Front wheel interchangability?

F4i front wheel with rotors is compatible with the 919?

My half-assed research shows that the f3 wheel is compatible with the 919, but maybe not the rotors? I plan on doing more research this evening when I'm off work, but I'd love to find more info in this new thread as well.

Here is a previous post that says f4i wheel is good, but doesn't explain much else.

Thanks

since the f4i forks are bolt-on compatible with the 919 (calipers bolt right up, wheel and rotors work fine) i would think that the f4i wheel would also work with 919 hardware...

Sure that nine19 will jump in and give a link to his post. A few of use have done the front/rear rim conversion. Wasnt bad at all, and well worth it.

So a wheel from a cbr600 f4i is a straight bolt on to my 919 front end? I will be using the rotors from my 919. Will these also be a direct bolt on or will I need the f4i rotors as well?

Is the wheel lighter? More precision made? Or just an option if were mess up a wheel?
And what about the rear? For a matching pair.

I need replacement options. I lost my bid on an Ebay 919 front rim today thanks to a lousy work computer. Unfortunately for me 919 rims aren't ubiquitous.

https://www.wristtwisters.com/forum/s...br900rr+wheels

and the rear a direct bolt on of a 900rr, as state i used calipers and spacers for the front. this process was very easy with a few questions sent to 919....
